A mindful hike with Kylie Rae at Maungatautari sets the scene for an inspiring session at the Bush Boardroom with Nicola Turner from Mainstream Green, followed by a locally and sustainably sourced Christmas lunch in nature.
Nicola offers tips for a more mindful festive season that's lighter on the planet. She will share how, as a family of four, they have simplified their life, freed up time, and significantly reduced their impact on the planet. A passionate advocate for keeping it real, Nic will show you how living more lightly on the planet is about making simple changes that don't have to take any more time or effort.
The event will cover lots of do-able ideas and practical hacks to help you simplify your Christmas and reduce your impact. You will leave the event inspired and with lots of tools to help you and those around you create change.

Meet at Sanctuary Mountain, 99 Tari road, Pukeatua
Mindful hike, 1.5 hours: The morning begins with being mindful in nature to destress, tune in to the rhythm of your intuition and reduce cluttered and unproductive thinking. Kylie will give you all the tools you need to engage all of your senses, and tap into the unconscious wilderness of your brain. This is a powerful way to destress, reconnect and promote divergent thinking ready for the Living Lightly workshop with Nicola.
During the mindful hike we will stop for a cup of hot tea and small bite on the mountain track.
Living Lightly session with Nicola Turner, 1.5 hours: Nestled under an ancient canopy at our hidden Bush Boardroom.
Lunch: Locally and sustainably sourced, buffet-style Christmas lunch served in the forest shelter.
Tree tower and photos: Short walk up to the tree tower to be among the giants with your team. Team photos!
15 minute walk out and finish.
Programme runs from 9am and finishes at 2pm.
